When David and I first met with Sarah and Dillon, we instantly knew we just had to be a part of their big day! We sat with them over coffee for nearly two hours chatting away and learning all about their love story and their wedding plans. We were bound to get along from the get-go, because Sarah loves coffee (just like me) and Dillon despises it (just like David). Sarah also chose dusty rose as one of their main wedding colors, which if you can’t already tell by my website, my clothing, my own wedding colors, or my branding, my all time favorite color is dusty rose!
The two first met in college at Boise State through CRU, a campus ministry. Dillon says he saw Sarah right away….whereas Sarah, on the other hand, took some time to notice Dillon. Eventually they went on a date, and the rest is history! They have been together now for 3 years. In February, Dillon surprised Sarah with a sunset engagement at JUMP Boise. She had absolutely no idea a ring was coming! How often does that really happen?! He made sure a friend was there to take photos as he got down on one knee at sunset overlooking downtown Boise. As if that’s not already enough of a dream, he also planned a surprise engagement party immediately after to celebrate with all of their friends!
These two are so sweet, joyful, and giddy. They made my job so easy! Plus, we had the most gorgeous evening at the Boise River Greenbelt amidst two full weeks of rainy weather. I cannot wait for their wedding this October at the sweetest mountain venue, Sixty Chapel, in Garden Valley, Idaho. Dillon is originally from Montana, so the modern barn surrounded by mountains and ponds couldn’t be a more fitting venue for the two of them to tie the knot. When they toured the venue, they even learned that the owners were from Montana and knew Dillon’s family! If that’s not meant to be, I’m not sure what is!
