We had so much fun with Kat + Kyle chasing golden hour all around the Boise foothills! We started at the Boise Military Reserve and ended up at Tablerock for the most gorgeous sunset ever. We always love incorporating locations that are special and hold significance to our couples when we can. When we heard the story below, we just knew that we had to do their engagement session in the Boise Foothills!
Kat and Kyle met and became good friends over playing a board game together. Unknowingly, they both wanted their relationship to be more than that of just friends. One day, Kyle was out hiking around Tablerock when Kat texted him to ask him out. At the same exact moment, Kyle had been crafting a text to send to Kat to ask her out! Naturally, since then, it has become one of their favorite places to hike and spend time together.
Kat never pictured herself getting married, but after meeting Kyle, she started to see things differently. On Valentine’s day of this year, they talked about the idea of getting married, and just a couple months later, Kyle proposed! They picked out a gorgeous morganite stone to place on Kat’s grandmother’s beautiful Heirloom ring band for her engagement ring. It couldn’t be more stunning! Kat even came prepared to the session with freshly picked wildflowers to compliment her gorgeous new ring.
