Dreamy Summer Orchard Engagement Session

This dreamy summer orchard engagement session was so much fun! When thinking of locations for Lucy and Ethan’s engagement photos, Lucy mentioned that she loved the photos I shared earlier this Spring at an Apple Orchard. I hadn’t thought of shooting at the orchards any time other than Spring when it’s in blossom, but it ended up being the perfect place, even in the middle of summer! The apples at Cabalo’s Orchard were beginning to grow and the foliage was just beautiful! We may have fought off some bugs (don’t worry…I come to all my sessions prepared with plenty of bugspray!) but it was so worth it!

These two are nothing short of smitten and adorable. Lucy and Ethan first met when Lucy came home to Burley to visit her family. After they met, Lucy just knew she had to stay in town! Boys sometimes have a way of changing your life plans, as even I can relate! I think it’s safe to say it was a good change of plans! They got engaged in April and began to plan the best day ever! They even bought a sweet little house in Burley that they are fixing up and making their own.

Lucy and Ethan, thank you so much for letting David and I capture your engagement photos! We are so grateful that you trusted us with these moments and that you were willing to drive all the way from Burley just to have us take your photos! We are so excited for you as you step into this new and exciting journey in marriage! In our opinion, marriage is the absolute best. What could be better than doing life with your best friend? We know you two will flourish and wish you all the best in these upcoming months as you prepare for your wedding!
