Oh my goodness. We had so much fun with Emilee, Ryan, and the cutest golden retriever, Cooper! We got to do their Summer Engagement photos at Merrill Park in Eagle and the area surrounding the Boise River. Ryan’s parents’ house is just a quick walk from the area, so they thought it would be special to take photos in a place Ryan spent a lot of time at growing up! It was absolutely perfect!
Emilee and Ryan met each other while in college at Penn State. They come from a long legacy of Penn State graduates all throughout their family, so I have no doubt that somewhere down the road the tradition will continue on! They dated all throughout college and even made it through long distance while Emilee was in grad school. After finishing up school, Emilee moved to Ryan’s hometown of Boise!
Emilee grew up back east in Pennsylvania. Cancun is her family’s annual vacation destination because it is just a quick 4 hour flight from home (not fair right?)! Last year, during their annual family Cancun trip, Ryan popped the question and the two got engaged! So they figured, what better place to get married than Mexico? They will be tying the knot next Summer in Cancun! Destination wedding for the win!
Just a few months ago, Emilee and Ryan also added an addition to the family when they got their adorable golden retriever pup, Cooper. He is now 4 months old and is nothing but cuteness and all puppy! It was so fun to incorporate him in their session!
Emilee and Ryan, it was so fun getting to know you and spend some time with you during this exciting season of your lives. We hope these months before your wedding are some of the best of your lives and know it will be the most beautiful day celebrating your love!
