I can’t believe how quickly time flew by between Branden and Alyssa’s engagement session at the Apple orchards to their wedding day! Branden and Alyssa had such a beautiful Still Water Hollow Wedding. David and I get to shoot weddings at Still Water Hollow quite often, which we absolutely love! It’s a gorgeous venue with so much charm and so many options. It’s always fun to see how brides choose to utilize spaces differently and make their own unique wedding dream come true! Branden and Alyssa’s wedding was nothing short of stunning, thanks in part to design and coordination by Major Events.
It’s hard to pick just one thing that stood out from the wedding day, because it was all so wonderful! But, if I had to choose, one of the sweetest moments of the wedding day was their ceremony. Alyssa’s mother walked her down the aisle, in place of her father, who passed from ALS. The bond between Alyssa and her mother was so sweet. Branden and Alyssa’s officiant married Alyssa’s parents years ago. The officiant even brought the same exact bible he used at her parent’s ceremony for the wedding day! It was a very special, heartfelt way to start their marriage.
When most couples say their vows, they are promising to love and stand by their spouse in every season of life, but Branden and Alyssa have already weathered so much together. It is a beautiful testament to their faith and commitment to each other. I know that this will continue as they move forward into marriage together.
