This whole session was so dreamy! Emily and David picked the perfect outfits for their Boise River engagement in the water. Needless to say, they nailed the engagement session style guide! For more engagement session outfit tips, check out this blog! They definitely win the award (so far) for best dressed and most adventurous! We started the night exploring the paths near the river, then ended up in the river by the end of the night! Don’t worry, it was planned…and it wasn’t even too chilly!
These two have one of the sweetest stories! Emily, who is originally from Illinois, was doing her masters in Athletic Training at Boise State University. At the same time, David was coaching mens basketball Boise State! One day during basketball tryouts, the normal trainer that covered basketball was unavailable, so Emily filled in. Emily caught David’s eye right away. Later that week, the two were out with their friends and ran into each other! From there, a relationship formed, and they have now been together for nearly 2 years.
In February of this year, David insisted that they go to a barbecue following a basketball game. Little did Emily know she was about to get proposed to — though she did wonder who in their right mind barbecues in February! As they crossed a bridge over the Boise River, Emily realized that there was no barbecue whatsoever, and instead, there was a proposal. David had set up a table with rose petals all across the bridge and got down on one knee! Before you applaud David for his romanticism, I have to share that the most hilarious part is that a biker rode straight through the proposal, and there are even pictures to prove it!
