Emily and Connor’s Eagle Private Estate wedding was simple and beautiful. They chose navy and burgundy as their colors, which is one of my favorite Fall wedding color schemes! They tied the knot at Connor’s parents’ estate, located in Eagle, Idaho. Their beautiful property is situated just off of Beacon Light Road. It has the sweetest brick house surrounded by pastures and land. The property was covered with mature trees which provided the perfect amount of shade for the ceremony! It made for the sweetest wedding ceremony and reception location.
The neighbors across the street from Connor’s parents’ house were kind enough to allow Emily and her bridesmaids to get ready at their place, as well as let us use their beautiful gardens for portraits. Their back yard was absolutely immaculate. It was complete with a finely manicured courtyard, an orchard, mature landscaping, and shaped shrubbery. It was such a beautiful spot for Emily and Connor’s first look and portraits!
Connor and Emily’s bridal party was, well, a party, and they kept us moving and laughing the whole day! However, one of the sweetest moments was the ceremony. David looked over at me with a concerned face before the ceremony was about to begin. He noticed that the front row was one chair short, meaning either Connor’s mother or father would not have a place to sit. At this exact moment, we realized Connor’s dad was officiating their ceremony!
During the ceremony, we learned that Connor asked his dad to officiate just a few weeks prior. He jumped at the occasion and got the certifications necessary to do so in the nick of time. It made for a very personal and heartwarming ceremony. Instead of the traditional, “In sickness and in health, ’til death do us part” vows, Connor and Emily chose to write their own vows to be read by Connor’s father during the ceremony. They included but were not limited to…promising to keep Emily’s cold feet warm, promising not to finish the Netflix series without the other, Connor promising to kill all of the spiders in the home, and so on! It was hilarious and showed their sweet sense of humor!
Emily and Connor, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your big day! We loved capturing it and dancing the night away with you and your dearest friends. We wish you all the best as you continue forward as husband and wife!
