Bogus Basin Fall Engagement

This Bogus Basin Fall Engagement session was so sweet! Rachel and Kaylob knew each other while growing up in a small town in northern California. Kaylob had moved up to Idaho to do hunting tours when they began talking. Rachel came to visit him in Idaho a few times and the rest was history! They fell in love with each other and with Boise for its proximity to the mountains, and decided to make it home. So, it only made sense for us to go to the mountains for their engagement session! We drove up Bogus Basin road and found some beautiful spots along the way for their session! Fun fact, David and I actually took some of our engagement photos at the same location!

These two have one of the sweetest proposal stories I have ever heard…and trust me, I’ve heard a lot! Rachel and Kaylob love Texas country bands and were going to see one of their favorite bands perform at the Knitting Factory. Kaylob had previously messaged the main singer of the band saying he wanted to propose during the concert in hopes that they would play along or do something special! The lead singer liked the message, but never replied. Kaylob messaged the lead singer again on the day of the concert to give it one last shot, and he got a response! During the concert, in between songs, the lead singer called them out from stage and Kaylob proposed! The whole crowd went wild and cheered as Rachel said yes to forever!

Their wedding is next June at the beautiful White Willow Estate, in Star, Idaho, and we are so excited to capture their big day! A large majority of their guests will be traveling from California and we know Boise is going to show off for them!
