Kendall absolutely rocked her Fall Boise State Senior session! Kendall found me through her neighbors, Emilee + Ryan (and their adorable puppy Cooper), whose engagement photos I did earlier this year. We had so much fun exploring campus and including important places from her college journey. Kendall’s mom was able to join us for her session which was so fun! Typically, for college senior sessions, moms are unable to make it because more often than not, they live in another state. While Kendall’s mom does actually live in California, she has a house in Boise as well. Her schedule allows her to come visit every 6-8 weeks, see Kendall, and enjoy Boise!
We started Kendall’s senior session at the Communications building, where she has spent countless hours over the last few years attending classes to get her degree in communications. To complete her degree, she is creating a documentary for her senior seminar class. The key focus of the class is resilience, so she has chosen to do her documentary on the homeless population in Boise. I can only imagine how eye opening it will be!
Though the bright orange leaves of the Boise State quad said farewell a little earlier this year than usual, we were still able to find some awesome Fall colors to incorporate into her session! Then, we of course had to finish the evening at the iconic “B” in front of the administration building on campus. What better reason to pop some champagne than graduating college? It turns out, however, it can be a little tricky to pop champagne when it’s freezing outside and your fingers are nearly numb! After a few tries– and lot’s of anticipation on my part with my camera ready to go at any minute– we finally got it! I’d say the momentary struggle was most definitely worth it!
Kendall, thank you so much for choosing me to capture this exciting milestone in your life! Good luck with finishing all your final papers and projects… you are almost there!
