August Still Water Hollow Wedding

Alex and Morgan’s August Still Water Hollow Wedding was absolutely gorgeous! After rescheduling their original May wedding date due to uncertainties surrounding Covid-19, they finally got to have the party they deserved! Their day went off without a hitch, largely thanks to their coordinator, Lindsey from STIL (So This is Love) Weddings. We loved working with her team, and they made the day so easy! They were checking in constantly with the both the bride and groom and us as vendors to make sure we had everything we needed and kept the day running smoothly! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, a great coordinator is worth every single penny and more!

Alex and Morgan had so many beautiful details and fun touches to their day that it’s hard to know where to even begin! Alex provided me with a full set of details and invitations to photograph–I love when bride’s make sure to set this aside for me–and I got to work styling away. She had the most beautiful Mrs. Box with the initial of her new last name custom engraved on the blush heirloom box. She also had a bridal face mask that was a work of beauty in itself and coordinating mask for her groom!

Her bridesmaids were given charm bracelets as a thank you gift and wore pink matching robes for the cutest getting ready photos! Then, the couple shared the sweetest First Look moment. Her bouquet was beautifully done by Boise at It’s Best Flowers and featured one of my favorites…anemones! (Say that 10 times fast…Bring a childhood movie to mind?)

Their ceremony aisle had the most beautiful display of rose petals I have ever seen. The petals were arranged into perfect swirls, again thanks to Lindsey’s team, and made for simultaneously simple and elegant ceremony decor.

For their dessert, Alex and Morgan cut their own cake, and served guests the most delicious ice cream cupcakes from Coldstone. Featuring “his” and “hers” flavors, these refreshing cupcakes were a hit….especially on a hot summer day!

Last but not least, they picked up the cutest “Mr.” and “Mrs.” balloons that I had previously shared on my Instagram stories! It was such a fun addition to incorporate into their husband and wife golden hour photos.

This day was nothing short of joyous and meaningful moments. At one point during the reception, Alex even got behind the DJ booth and mixed some tracks! Needless to say, David and I had so much fun capturing the day. Alex and Morgan, we are so excited for you two and so thankful we got to witness your day! Here’s to your Ciavarella story!
