This rustic chic White Willow Estate Wedding was absolutely beautiful. Every little detail fit the couple perfectly from their horse trailer mobile bar to their wood farm sweetheart table. It was quite literally the most beautiful September day ever, a perfect mid 70s day, and the smoke from the wildfires finally cleared out! After a big rainstorm the day before, we were all relieved that they had beautiful weather for their outdoor wedding at White Willow Estate.
Julie’s Grandpa officiated their ceremony, which was something she had dreamt of for many years. When she was a little girl, she told her grandpa that one day, she wanted him to marry her. That sweet moment finally came to fruition. It was a heartfelt, meaningful ceremony full of sentiment. Instead of lighting a unity candle or braiding a unity cord, Julie and Tim chose to water a unity tree during their ceremony. This tree will be planted at their home and a reminder of their ever growing love.
Later in the evening, we snuck away from the reception for a few golden hour portraits with the couple. This is personally my all time favorite part of the day because the light is dreamy and golden, and it results in beautiful portraits! I always encourage couples to steal a moment alone together on their wedding day, so this gives them time to do so as well. White Willow Estate’s tree lined drive surrounded by white fencing and horse pastures provided the most beautiful setting for these portraits. With it’s riverside location, ponds, and mature willow trees, this venue has easily become one of my favorites!
