Fall Mountain Engagement Session

This Fall Mountain Engagement session was the sweetest! Brooke and Jason love spending time in the outdoors together. Whether they are hiking, fishing, or camping, they soak up all the time they can get outside together. So, when it came time for their engagement session, it only made sense for us to capture their engagement session in the mountains, just outside of Boise! We had the most perfect, cool Fall evening with a beautiful, glowy sunset to finish the night off!

I asked Brooke to share a little bit about their love story, and here’s what she said:

“We met our sophomore year in college. Jason went to high school with my best friends, Jaime and Madi from BSU. With Jason living in a different state, we really just built a friendship over the years. When Jason moved back to Boise we ran into each other at the Eagle rodeo and that’s when the sparks really started. We both knew that night how much we liked each other and now three years later we are finally getting married! 

We got engaged in the same spot Jason took me on our first date. It was up in the Eagle foothills over-looking the city. One of our favorite date nights is going up to the foothills and watching the sunset, so I didn’t expect anything. But that night he packed a cooler, a blanket, loaded up our dog Oakley, and let the night take it away. Jason wanted a private moment just the two of us to really be in the moment.”

These two are tying the knot next September at the gorgeous White Barn at Happy Valley, and we absolutely cannot wait!
