Fall Idaho Mountain Engagement

I’m so excited to share Erin and Ben’s Fall Idaho Mountain engagement session! These two were absolute rock stars in front of the camera. We had so much fun with them venturing around Bogus Basin and taking in the beautiful Idaho mountains…even it if it was a bit chilly! Ben’s dry and hilarious sense of humor and one-liners kept us laughing the entire night, and we had so much fun getting to know them!

Erin and Ben’s story is a little different than most of our couples, because they aren’t just engaged…they are already married! They were engaged for all of 6 days before they decided to go to the court house and officially tie the knot. With Ben being in the Air Force and Erin in veterinarian school, they figured, why wait!

I know what you may be thinking…if they are already married, why did they do an engagement session?! That’s a great question! We believe that it is so important to get our couples in front of our cameras before the wedding day for a few reasons. It allows them to get comfortable in front of our cameras, learn our posing style, and relieves stress altogether around taking photos. It also gives us a chance to build a relationship with the couple before their wedding day. We love getting to know our couples so we can feel more like friends than hired vendors on the wedding day. Lastly, who doesn’t want some gorgeous images for their save the dates, guest book, home together, etc.!

Erin and Ben are having their big wedding celebration in April at the beautiful Shore Lodge in McCall, Idaho. We cannot wait to capture their day and celebrate with them!
