Emily’s October senior session by the river was such a dream! I originally met Emily when I photographed her brother and sister-in-law’s small mountain elopement. Due to covid, they ended up changing their wedding plans and tying the knot at a beautiful, small ceremony in Garden Valley, Idaho. My love for intimate weddings grew this year, as I got to witness the simplicity and beauty of just a couple and their families gathering together to celebrate. These families in particular were so loving and kind! They were gracious hosts and were so fun to work with!
So, when Emily reached out to me about senior photos, I was so excited! One of the best parts about this job is the people I end up meeting through other weddings, events, or mutual friends. At any given place, I am bound to know someone mutual or have a connection somehow with someone! If that isn’t Boise, Idaho at it’s finest, I don’t know what is.
Emily is graduating this spring from Mountain View High School. Her dream career path is to become a veterinarian and study at Oklahoma State University. She is also considering pursuing a degree at Boise State or University of Idaho. Emily is kind and radiant, and I can’t wait to see where she goes in life!
