Noelle and Seth’s Idaho City Mountain engagement was an absolute dream! We shoot a lot of our winter sessions at Bogus Basin, which is absolutely beautiful! But, a few weeks ago the mountains got a big snow storm! So, we decided to head to Idaho City for a little change of scenery.
We stopped at Grimes Creek, which is actually a popular summer camping destination. This time of year, though, between the beautiful evergreen trees and the snow it is a winter wonderland!
We enjoyed our time with Noelle and Seth so much! We soaked in a warm winter day, and loved getting to explore a little bit with them. One of our favorite parts of the Grime’s Creek area is its beautiful little stream. We thought it would be snow covered and frozen in the winter. To our surprise, it actually was running and beautiful, just like it is in the summer. Especially in the winter, the contrast with the running water and the snow is so dreamy!
Finding this little stream in the winter was actually a fun parallel to Noelle and Seth’s love story. They met a few years ago in a period of time when neither of them was really looking for love. But as we know from all of the famous love stories, love seems to come to you when you are last expecting it!
We are so excited to celebrate Noelle and Seth this fall at the beautiful Still Water Hollow. While the weather and scenery will definitely be a little bit different, Noelle and Seth’s love will undoubtedly be the same. It will be so fun to celebrate their love, and the party will definitely be on!
