Kaitlin and Andrew’s Heartfelt Idaho Spring elopement was a day we will not forget. Kaitlin and Andrew reached out to us this Spring about being a part of their big day. When they filled out their notes for their consultation, they said something I think we all can relate to. “2020 was a difficult year for us, and we are ready to get married and put it behind us.”
While 2020 was not easy for any of us, Kaitlin and Andrew’s story is truly unique. Early in the summer, they decided to take a float down the Boise River. That day that was supposed to be fun turned out to be a life changing one. A tree fell on them on the bank, leaving Andrew paralyzed from the waist down. This amazing couple had shared years of their lives together, but this day certainly changed their lives.
Kaitlin stood by Andrew’s side through physical therapy, and this new journey that they were going on together.
We are so honored that we got to capture the day they became husband and wife.
It was such a special, intimate day. Surrounded by their parents, these two shared heartfelt, emotional vows, and a sweet ceremony at the beautiful White Willow Estate. Because of everything they have been through together, each word and moment seemed that much more meaningful. There was not a single dry eye – Karli and mine included!
