We had such an amazing time with Lindsey and Michael at their Camel’s Back Spring Engagement.
Lindsey and Michael are people who naturally think of others first. Michael serves the community as a paramedic. He puts in long hours. He skips full nights of sleep. Beyond that, he works hard to educate others in his field. Lindsey is working towards becoming a school counselor. She has sacrificed time with her fiancé for school and his job.
They are selfless and kind people!
When the time came for them to be the center of attention, they felt like they might be uncomfortable. In reality, their love for each other totally shined through. We enjoyed Lindsey and Michael’s company even more than the beautiful 60 degree Boise spring day. We told stories, laughed, and captured some beautiful photos. They were even willing to hike through the Boise Foothills to get to all of the magical spots!
By the end of the session, I think Lindsey and Michael forgot they ever were worried about being the center of attention. One of the things we love about our job is capturing moments and feelings with our couples. Almost everyone feels uncomfortable in front of a camera at first (even us!). We love peeling back those feelings, having a blast, and getting to create images that our couples will cherish forever! This session was such a wonderful reminder of that for us.
Lindsey and Michael, thank you for sharing such a fun afternoon with us. You two are so selfless and kind and we really enjoyed our time together. Thanks for being willing to hike all over the foothills with us, and for letting us have our no-judgment 45 seconds. You guys rocked your engagement session, and we can’t wait to celebrate you on your wedding day at Trail Creek Cabin in Sun Valley, Idaho.
