We kicked off our wedding season last week at Kaylee and Matt’s Idaho Spring Vineyard Wedding. While we technically started our year at this amazing Winter Still Water Hollow Wedding, this feels like our first wedding of the true “Wedding season.” And it certainly did not disappoint! Kaylee and Matt were surrounded by so many loved ones, and the day truly went off without a hitch.
We first spent time with Kaylee and Matt at their Winter Mountain Engagement Session. While that day was absolutely magical, if we’re being honest, we all froze our butts off! Winter and snow in Boise are beautiful, they don’t make for the most comfortable photo taking weather. Needless to say, we were relieved when we saw 65 and sunny in the forecast!
We started the day with the most romantic first look on the front lawn at Fox Canyon Vineyards. Matt could not wait to show his bride his unique green tweed suit! We think he was slightly overshadowed by his bride in her wedding gown, but you can’t blame a guy for trying 😉
We loved all of the details that Kaylee and Matt brought to their day.
From the tweed suit, to the unique chairs at the head table there were so many things that fit Kaylee and Matt so well.
But our personal favorite was probably the bible that was used during the ceremony. While Kaylee’s grandpa passed away, his presence was felt on the wedding day as words from 1st Corinthians 13 were read from his Bible. It was so special to see where he had underlined and marked things that were important to him in it.
Kaylee and Matt, thank you for letting us be a part of your day. We wish you all the best in your journey as husband and wife. We will be praying for you, and are excited to follow along every step of the way!
