Keely and Adam’s dreamy Boise foothills engagement was just that–the session of our dreams! These two radiate with love for each other. They are such kind, down to earth people, and we just loved getting to spend our evening with them. They were so understanding after we rescheduled their initial session date due to the heat, and then also had to change locations due to weather! As beautiful as the sand dunes are, they will burn you when it’s been consistently 103 degrees outside–craziness!
Keely, herself, is actually a photographer. She works for a company that specializes in photography for real estate and airbnb properties. Needless to say, when you have someone in front of your camera who knows more about photography than the average joe, the pressure is on! We had a great time talking about sessions and getting to share experiences with someone who totally gets our job. It was so much fun!
Keely and Adam initially met each other online. From the very beginning stages of their relationship, they both knew that this was it. They had found the one. And it didn’t take long for Keely’s family to get on Adam’s case about when he was going to propose! I always love when families are on the groom’s case about proposing because you know it means that they are equally as excited about adding a new member to their family!
Adam secured the ring and was ready to propose when tragedy struck their lives. Keely’s mom passed away unexpectedly which delayed his plans as they grieved and processed their heartbreaking loss. When they took a trip back to California to visit Keely’s family, Adam was able to join forces with Keely’s dad, brother, and sister-in-law to finally pull off his proposal! He proposed on one of Keely’s mom’s favorites beaches. I can only imagine just how special that was for them to share that moment, knowing that her mom was watching from above.
Keely and Adam are getting married next year at the beautiful Cottage at Riverbend in Eagle, Idaho and we are so excited to capture their big day!
