Stunning Bogus Basin Engagement

Megan and Ian’s Stunning Bogus Basin Engagement was a little bit different than usual! While most engagement sessions are months in advance of the wedding, this one was just two weeks before! We absolutely LOVE when couples use engagement photos for save the dates! To us, though, they are SO much more important than that. This session was the perfect embodiment of our engagement photo philosophy.

We certainly hope Megan and Ian already sent out invitations to all of their friends and family! But, doing an engagement session was still a huge priority for us – and Megan and Ian were willing to do it too! We truly believe that doing an engagement session is an amazing opportunity to get to know one another.

We hope that when we arrive on your wedding day, we feel more like friends than just a wedding vendor!

That will certainly be the case on Megan and Ian’s big day in just a week or so! We had so much fun on our little adventure in the mountains. It was one of those sessions where we had to remind ourselves to keep taking photos, because I think we could have talked all evening!

Megan and Ian are middle school sweethearts who both grew up here in Boise! They have had an exciting last few months, and the excitement is going to keep rolling through this summer and fall! Megan just graduated from PT school at Northeastern in Boston. On top of all of the excitement of their wedding at the beautiful Sixty Chapel in Garden Valley, these two are moving across the country for Megan to start her career, and Ian to start law school at Stanford! Talk about a couple of superstars!

Megan and Ian, thank you for being willing to take some engagement photos so close to your wedding day! We had SO much fun, and can’t wait to celebrate you again in just a few short weeks. It is going to be so much fun!
