Amanda and Ian’s Riverside Fall Engagement session was the perfect final session of 2021 for us! We had so much fun on this fall afternoon at the beautiful Boise River. After having to reschedule due to weather once, the November weather was kind to us and it was a gorgeous evening!
Amanda and Ian met each other at work a few years ago! They started out as friends, but over time their relationship developed into more! They dated for some time, and then one day while they were in McCall, Ian asked Amanda to marry him! McCall is a special place for these two, so it was the perfect place to pop the question.
Amanda and Ian are seriously the sweetest couple! The love these two have for one another was so obvious to us as we got to spend the evening with them. They were absolutely naturals in front of the camera. We usually try to keep our couples smiling and laughing, but this night, Ian was the one cracking us up! His dry sense of humor kept us laughing the entire time.
We love engagement sessions because we get to know our couples on a deeper level!
This was definitely true with Amanda and Ian! We learned that Ian is a martial artist! He loves practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and came home from a competition the morning of our session. Thankfully, he was able to escape without too many scrapes and bruises. Amanda, on the other hand, is an amazing baker. She even has her own business, The Flour Cottage, where she creates the most adorable cakes and sweet treats!
We are so excited to celebrate Amanda and Ian’s wedding next September at the beautiful Still Water Hollow! It will surely be a joyful day of fun and celebration!
