Emily and Samim’s Winter Wonderland Engagement Session was like something out of a book or a magazine! It was the dreamiest, winter day in Boise, and these two were AMAZING in front of the camera! It was so much fun, even in the cold, and has us counting down the days until their wedding!
We actually first met Samim at Courtney and Timothy’s Fourth Street Gardens wedding. He was Timothy’s best man, and we remembered his great sense of humor throughout the entire wedding day. We could not have been more excited when him and Emily reached out to us and said it was their turn to tie the knot! We knew if Emily was half as much fun as Samim, they would be a dream couple for us. They definitely did not disappoint during their engagement session!
Emily and Samim met one another when they were in college at Arizona State University. They ran into each other in the laundry room, and the rest was history! Even though their families live on opposite sides of the country, these two hit it off, and decided they wanted to spend forever together! They have gotten to experience so much has a couple together – college, moving around the country, and more!
They are such a strong couple because of it, and being around them is infectious!
One of our favorite parts of their engagement session was their outfits! Not only were they dressed to the 9’s on this beautiful snowy day, their outfits were so thoughtful as well. Their first green outfit was symbolic to Emily’s family’s catholic roots. Their second outfit was a tribute to Samim’s Afghani heritage! They were so brave to wear the Afghan clothing in the middle of winter, but we think it definitely paid off!
We could not be more excited to celebrate Emily and Samim at the beautiful Chateau des Fleurs this summer! It is going to be the most beautiful, joyful day. We know the love these two have for one another will be on full display! And, they will get to leave the day with rings on their hands and as husband and wife, which is what it is all about!
