We love when people invest in their wedding details, and we got to capture a woman behind the details at this Idaho Calligrapher Branding Session. It has been such a fun trend to see calligraphy become a staple in wedding invitations. What was even more fun was getting to meet the person behind the beautiful work! When Britiney asked us to capture some branding imagery for Sawtooth Calligraphy, we jumped at the chance!
Britiney started her calligraphy business a few years ago after her children grew older and she had more time to focus back to her own passions. She had the desire to serve couples for their wedding days, and so much calligraphy talent. It was the perfect endeavor for her, and it is so fun getting to root her on in her business! It is truly so amazing to see the magic she can create with just a pen and some paper. We think it is such a perfect addition to class up your invitation suite or place cards! And, we jump for joy every time we get to photograph a beautiful handwritten envelope!
Britiney reached out about her branding photos right at the time we were planning some of our own! She felt like a mini branding session could be perfect for her, and we definitely agreed! The VRBO we rented for our own branding photos felt like the perfect fit for Britiney’s brand too. We are all about light colors, and neutral spaces. It was the perfect backdrop to capture Britiney, and her beautiful calligraphy work.
We were able to capture so much variety, from small detail shots of her work, to gorgeous new headshots for her social media and website!
