We kicked off our wedding season at Maddie and Chase’s Selby Gardens Florida Wedding! It was the most incredible day celebrating the beautiful love these two share. We were blessed with some gorgeous Florida sunshine, and the most amazing wedding to match! It was truly a day that we will never forget, and such a joy to celebrate Maddie and Chase!
We first met Maddie and Chase when their planner, Lauren with MDP Events, sent them our way! We were so thrilled when they chose us to capture their big day. Not only was their wedding in sunny Florida during our Idaho offseason, we felt our photography style was a perfect match for their vision for the day!
We absolutely clicked with Maddie and Chase when we went down for their engagement session in November! These two were total naturals in front of the camera, and we created some magic with them! We knew from that moment on that their wedding day was going to be flawless! We were counting down the days until their November 2022 wedding. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the wedding actually moved up to March, and we didn’t have to wait as long as we thought we would! It was a big change, but Maddie and Chase handled it like they seem to handle everything – with grace and class!
By the time it was the week of the wedding, I think we might have been almost as excited as they were. Ok, maybe not quite – but we think it was close! And boy, the wedding day did not disappoint! Maddie, Chase, and Lauren truly left no stone unturned! Every detail was flawless, and we were so thrilled to be capturing it all!
But what is even more beautiful than the wedding day was the love these two share!
There is truly something about Maddie and Chase together that is so infectious. Every toast given talked about how much better they are together than apart. While this is a common sentiment in wedding toasts, it is so obvious that it is absolutely true of Maddie and Chase! We left the day feeling so honored not only to capture their big day, but also witness the love these two share for each other. They are the sweetest couple, and are going to be amazing as husband and wife – and also mom and dad!
Maddie and Chase found out they were expecting a little one a few months ago. One of the absolute highlights of the day was the cake cutting! They used this wedding tradition to reveal the gender of their baby! It was truly one of the most exciting wedding moments we have witnessed. There was not a dry eye in the room, and everyone was so thrilled for them! Oh, and it’s a girl – by the way!!
Maddie and Chase, we are so thankful we got to know you throughout this process. It was so fun getting to walk through this season with you as you turned your wedding dreams into a reality. You handled setbacks and challenges with ease and grace, and that will bode so well for you as you step into marriage together. We will praying for you and your growing family! We know there are so many exciting things in store for you guys!
