Emily and Samim’s Elegant Chateau Des Fleurs Wedding in Eagle, Idaho was one of those days that reminded us why we do what we do. From start to finish, the day was perfect, and Emily and Samim were full of grace and class. It was so fun seeing these two handle each moment of the day beautifully, and celebrate wholeheartedly. We finished the night in style with an awesome party sending off Emily and Samim into their new life together!
Emily and Samim met each other at Arizona State while they were in college. The sparks flew instantly, and they knew they were a great fit for one another. Fast forward seven years, and it was time to become husband and wife. We were so excited when they asked us to capture their big day for a few reasons. For starters, Emily and Samim are truly the sweetest couple.
They both are just such kind people, and it shows in their love for each other and those around them!
Secondly, we were so thrilled because Samim was actually the best man in a wedding from a couple of years ago. He was the best man at Cortney and Tim’s Fourth Street Gardens Wedding! We remembered Samim’s great sense of humor from their day, and were so excited they asked us to be a part of their day!
That excitement only grew at Emily and Samim’s Winter Wonderland Engagement Session when we got to spend the afternoon with them! Even amidst the frigid temperatures, conversation with these two just felt so warm. We loved getting to spend the day with them, and immediately knew that their wedding day would be one for the books.
Like so many the past few years, Emily and Samim’s wedding day didn’t go off without a hitch! In fact, they had to change their date within a few weeks of the wedding due to family health reasons.
But to no one’s surprise, they handled everything with grace and class.
They took it in stride and the day was perfect! From the most beautiful venue, a gorgeous dress and sharp suit, to fun Afghani dances at the reception, this wedding day was true Emily and Samim. It was so beautiful as they shared their love and commitment to one another in front of friends and family.
Emily and Samim, It was a joy celebrating you as you became husband and wife. We are so excited for you to take on this new journey! If we have learned anything about you through being a part of this season of your lives, you are such a great fit for each other and will handle everything life throws at you with grace and a little bit of fun! We are praying for you two as you start this next chapter. Have fun in Bali!!
