Spending the evening with Maddie and Ryan at their Gorgeous Boise River Engagement was truly one of the highlights of our week last week! It was a warm, but beautiful evening! But what was even warmer and more beautiful was the love these two share! Not only that, we truly felt like friends by the end of the night. It was one of those evenings that makes us pinch ourselves when we realize this is our job!
Maddie and Ryan met each other when they went to the same middle school! While that wasn’t the beginning of their love story, it’s still so sweet that they go back that far. It wasn’t until college that these two finally connected! They spent a summer in touch with each other, but playing hard to get. By the time they finally decided to hang out, Maddie was bummed to learn that Ryan was leaving the next day for the summer to play baseball! But, you know what they say – distance makes the heart grow fonder! And these two were smitten for one another. They talked and stayed in touch throughout the summer and knew they wanted to pursue a relationship once Ryan was home!
Ryan planned the sweetest surprise proposal to Maddie at a park in Boise. He went all out including adorable letters, rose petals, and more! She said yes, and obviously the rest is history!
We could not be more excited to celebrate and serve Maddie and Ryan!
These two are the sweetest, and love one another so much! We know they are going to have the most amazing wedding day at Still Water Hollow. It will be a celebration with family and friends who will surely be so excited to see Maddie and Ryan tie the knot. It is such an honor for us to get to be apart of their day, and we are already counting down the days!
