DUMBO Brooklyn Anniversary Session

New York City is a photographers paradise! Beyond the amazing cityscapes, it also boasts some surprisingly gorgeous nature and endless variety. That’s why when we planned our dream trip to New York, we knew we couldn’t help but plan a couple of photo shoots! Thankfully, Jordan and Christian were on board for their Dumbo Brooklyn Anniversary session.

New York City may be known as the city that never sleeps, but actually they just sleep really early in the morning! We headed to Brooklyn for this sunrise session, and it was so quiet out. It was fun getting to see the city waking up, and the views from Brooklyn were astonishing! The sunrising over the Manhattan skyline is something everyone needs to see at least once in their life.

We also had so much fun getting to meet Jordan and Christian! We got connected with them through another local photographer. Our lives are very different, with them living on the upper west side of Manhattan, and us in suburban Idaho! But we absolutely hit it off with these two! Jordan and Christian were just the sweetest couple, and we had such an amazing time getting to know them. They had tied the knot in Dumbo just 6 months earlier, so it was so fun getting to capture this season of their lives!

It was truly a life dream of ours to get to photograph such a sweet couple in a stunning location. When you see these places on movies, tv shows, or in photos, it’s hard to believe they even exist. A session like this one is such a good reminder why we are so thankful for the job we get to do! Getting to spend a day with sweet people like Jordan and Christian in a remarkable setting is truly beyond our wildest dreams!
