Alyssa and Nathan’s Snowy Boise Foothills Engagement session was a beautiful winter wonderland. We had the pleasure of capturing their love at the Boise Military Reserve on a snowy January day. We planned to go to Bogus Basin, but the beautiful snowfall in town gave us a few more options. A
Alyssa and Nathan trusted us to switch locations at the last minute. We think it was the perfect setting for a gorgeous session! Top it off with the sweetest couple, and it was a winter dream! We made sure to take advantage of the natural beauty of the reserve, using the trees and snow-covered hills as a backdrop for their portraits together!

Alyssa and Nathan were high school sweethearts! They met through friends from their church, and while they have known they wanted to get married for a while, they wanted to wait until they were done with college. After graduating from George Fox University, they moved to Boise for this next chapter of their lives! After getting engaged in McCall last fall, the wedding planning was on. We were so excited when they reached out to us, and hit it off immediately! We have been counting down the days until their engagement session and wedding!
One of the highlights of the session was Alyssa and Nathan’s furry friend! They have an 8 week old lab puppy named Charlie, who is just adorable! It was so fun getting to capture the beginnings of their little family! The love and affection between the three of them was evident in the photo and it captured the essence of the day perfectly. Charlie cooperated for the camera so well, and we can tell he is going to be such a good dog!
Overall, Alyssa and Nathan’s engagement session was such a fun day! The snowy setting and the couple’s love for each other and their pup made for some truly stunning photos. It was such an honor to capture their engagement photos, and we can’t wait for their wedding day this summer at Still Water Hollow!
