Nicole and Jesse’s Summer Tamarack Resort Wedding was the most perfect day! From the perfect mountain location, to the most adorable couple, and miraculous weather, it could not have gone better from start to finish! Top it off with a sweet ceremony, and a dance party for the ages, and it was the day of their dreams! We are so glad we got to be a part of it!
Nicole and Jesse are high school sweethearts! They met in school here in Boise, Idaho and started dating. As with any couple who meets in high school, they have had a long journey to get from being just kids to husband and wife. That journey has taken them some of the highs and lows of life. It’s meant some time apart from one another. And it has taken them from Boise, to Oklahoma, Texas, and beyond! While the journey has long, their wedding location was actually just a few miles from where it all started.
While planning their wedding, Nicole and Jesse knew the Cascade, Idaho area had to be the spot! These two met one another at a church camp when they were in high school in Cascade. While the exact camp wasn’t an option for the wedding, the beautiful Tamarack Resort was the perfect mountain oasis for these two to tie the knot!
And it provided the perfect backdrop for the perfect day!
Surrounded by Aspen trees and their closest friends and family, Nicole and Jesse said yes to forever together! It was a romantic and thoughtful ceremony in the gorgeous white chapel at Tamarack! Shortly before the ceremony, the forecasted rain started to sprinkle – and we were a bit nervous for the outdoor reception. But, thanks to many prayers from parents, grandparents, Nicole and Jesse, and definitely from us as well – the clouds rolled back and provided us with the most remarkable evening!
Stories were shared about Nicole and Jesse and their love for one another. There wasn’t a dry eye in the courtyard! Then, we turned things up a notch with an incredible father daughter dance, and a dance party we will never forget! I guess it makes sense when the bride was on the University of Oklahoma dance team! It was an amazing celebration of the love these two share for one another!
Nicole and Jesse, thank you so much for letting us play a small part in your wedding day! It was such a joy, and you two are so easy to celebrate! We know there are so many exciting things in your future! You are going to be just as amazing as husband and wife as you have been up to this point. We wish you two all the best – and will be praying for you as you start this new season!
