Betsy and Peter’s Dreamy McCall, Idaho Engagement felt like the perfect expression of summer. A warm summer evening, paired with light-colored linens, and moments by the lake, it was everything you expect from summer in McCall. It was such a joy spending the evening with this lovely couple. Combine that with sentimental family locations, and a stunning sunset and you have a recipe for the perfect engagement session!
Betsy and Peter met one another in college in Colorado. Sparks flew early on during their time in college, and they have been together ever since. Early in their relationship, Betsy wanted to introduce Peter to McCall. The town has been so important to her and her family! As with so many others, Peter immediately fell in love with all McCall has to offer.
McCall officially became part of their love story when Peter asked Betsy to spend forever together in the town that was so special to her!
It is so fun getting to capture an engagement session in a place that is so meaningful to the couple! We captured some gorgeous shots near Betsy’s family home. Then, we ventured out onto the golf course where Betsy was a total trooper hiking around in her heels! We wrapped up the evening on the dock at Betsy’s grandma’s house, where she has spent countless summer evenings. It was truly an honor to be invited into these places that are so special to them!
We are counting down the days until next summer when we get to celebrate Betsy and Peter as they tie the knot! We are headed back to the mountains for a full weekend of festivities at Whitetail Club. It is going to be a lovely celebration of a wonderful couple, and we can’t wait!
