Anna and Mike’s Kiana Lodge Wedding could not have been more picture perfect! The combination of the sweetest couple, a gorgeous venue, and a delightful day could not have been better! But what was even more fun was celebrating these two alongside their friends and family. It was the culmination of a journey as a dating and engaged couple, and the beginning of a new journey as husband and wife! And what a day it was!
We met Anna and Mike in passing at Anna’s Cousin’s wedding that we photographed. While we didn’t get to chat with them much at the Fall Boise Vineyard Wedding, we were so thrilled when they reached out to us about capturing their day! We clicked with Anna and Mike immediately, and were counting down the days until we got to celebrate them!
We headed up to Poulsbo, a gorgeous island town outside of Seattle. We’re starting to think the whole rainy Seattle thing is a myth, because we were blessed with a stunning weekend!
On the day of the wedding, the sun was shining on the Puget Sound, and it was the perfect backdrop for a perfect ceremony!
Anna and Mike committed their lives to one another during a touching, personal ceremony. Anna’s uncle performed the ceremony, and it was so sweet getting a glimpse into their lives apart, as well as together! One unique thing they included was a ring warming during the ceremony! The idea was that the rings are just cold pieces of metal, but after being passed around and blessed by their closest friends and family, they became warm with love! It was a beautiful image of the love and care Anna and Mike’s friends and family have for this sweet couple.
We finished the evening with a delicious meal and rocking dance party! You know when the bride and groom plan matching track suits that they are going to get down to dance. It was a party to remember, and the perfect way to send them off into life as husband and wife!
Anna and Mike, thank you so much for letting us capture your big day! We had an absolute blast, and are so thankful we got to be a part of it! We wish you all the best as you become husband and wife. It is such a special gift, and we know you two will crush it! Have so much fun in Greece!!
