We had the most wonderful time at Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa for Jax & Steve’s Cancun Mexico Destination Wedding! It was truly a dream come true for us – getting to celebrate this sweet couple and photograph a wedding in such a stunning location! While the setting was gorgeous, Jax and Steve stole the show with their beautiful day committing their lives to one another.
From the moment Jax and Steve reached out to us about capturing their wedding, we knew it would be a special day! They are the sweetest couple and so easy to celebrate! We met Jax as a bridesmaid for one of our brides 4 years ago. It is so special to realize that at the time of that wedding, she didn’t even know who Steve was! Now, getting to see the two of them together – and the life they are building with their beautiful family is such a special full circle moment.
Jax and Steve’s big day was absolutely stunning.
It was full of linen suits and ocean blue bridesmaids dresses! There also may have been a bit of sweat, but we won’t talk about that here… haha! It was such a joy wandering the beautiful resort grounds to take portraits of this sweet couple. We loved getting to capture portraits among the Hacienda style architecture. But the real beauty came when we headed to the beach for the ceremony.
It was so special getting to witness Jax and Steve commit their lives to one another on the white sandy beach. We had the most perfect cloud cover that rolled in just in time for the ceremony. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they said “I do” and officially became husband and wife.
We capped of the day with a reception and dance party for the ages! There is something about a light up dance floor on top of a sandy beach that is absolutely remarkable. It was the perfect exclamation point on the perfect day. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. White!
