We stepped back in time with this Downtown Boise Engagement with Vintage Car. From the 1920s Spanish style Train depot, to the vintage replica Porsche, Danielle and Jacob’s session took us back to another era. It was so fun getting to capture this fun moment in time with them, and look towards everything they have to look forward to!
Danielle and Jacob met one another in college at Boise State. While sparks didn’t necessarily fly immediately, it was the beginning of a friendship that would ultimately serve as the foundation for their relationship! After 3 years of building that friendship, they wanted to take things up a notch. Their first date was clearly memorable for Jacob, because he recreated it when he asked Danielle to marry him as well! She said yes, and the rest is history!
We are so excited to celebrate these two at their June wedding!
After starting at the train depot, we chased the sunset over to the top of a downtown Boise parking garage! It was a stunning evening! There was a comedy show downtown the night of their session, and we were worried we wouldn’t be able to find the perfect spot. But there was a perfect clearing at the top of the garage. Everything worked out perfectly, and we think that is a great sign for things to come as well!
Their engagement session was the perfect dress rehearsal for their big day! From gorgeous portraits to a perfect champagne toast, it was such a fun evening! Cars are an important part of Danielle and Jacob’s lives. They are both proud VW owners! It was fun to incorporate such a cool car at their engagement session. It will certainly be a fun twist to their wedding day at the Cottage at Riverbend next summer as well.
Danielle and Jacob, we are so excited to celebrate you two next summer! It will come before you know it, so enjoy every second between now and then. It is going to be the best day, and we can’t wait!
