You may remember Nicole and Ryan’s Idaho City engagement session that was full of giddy, joyful laughter. I’m pleased to report that their chic wedding at White Barn at Happy Valley followed suit! If one single word comes to mind when I think of Ryan and Nicole’s wedding day, it’s joy. Pure joy! These two were surrounded by so much love on their wedding day. I know what you’re thinking…Most people are surrounded by love and joy on their wedding day! You’re not wrong. But at Nicole and Ryan’s wedding, there was such a tangible and prevalent feeling of support and joy radiating throughout the entire day. Even Nicole and Ryan, themselves, were nothing but joyful all day long.
What blew me away most was the servanthood of everyone present at the wedding. Normally, a wedding day is all about pampering and celebrating the bride and groom. While this certainly was true, Nicole and Ryan also gave back in return and served their families and bridal party. Nicole did her mother’s hair and helped button her mother’s dress, moments before her mother buttoned her own wedding dress. Ryan was constantly helping Nicole walk with her large (and gorgeous!) train. He brought her water to sip on the dance floor to keep her cool and hydrated. The groomsmen helped carry a vintage couch numerous times (THANK YOU GROOMSMEN!) inside and out for some of the photos you’ll see below.
Ryan and Nicole, we absolutely loved spending the day with you, and all of your family, bridal party, and friends. David and I could not be more grateful to have been a part of this day! It’s so clear that you have surrounded yourselves with an amazing support system. We know that without a doubt they will be cheering you on as you begin to build your life together. We also know that you have built the foundation of your relationship on your faith, and that could not be a better place to begin your marriage. We hope and pray that God will bless you as you enter into this new chapter together! – David and Karli

These photos are pure magic! You do an absolutely wonderful job and are so joyful and make everyone feel at ease during the photo sessions! As a bridesmaid it was wonderful and so much fun to be a part of this photo session with you both. What a wonderful eye for detail you have, and what fun you inspire everyone to have! Thank you for truly celebrating with us all and making my sister feel like such a princess! You are a fabulous couple and I’m so glad my sister had you there on her special day to capture all these wonderful moments!
