This styled shoot at Blush Creek Rental’s new BC Studio was so much fun! David and I actually rented our communion table for our wedding from Blush Creek Rentals. Earlier this Spring, I put together a small styled shoot at an apple blossom (which I’m still waiting to share as it’s in queue for publication). I remembered Blush Creek’s beautiful rentals and was able to feature one of their gorgeous settees in the shoot! When I went to pick up the settee, Ashley, the owner, showed me their under construction studio space. I just knew I had to shoot there when it was finished, so I was so thankful when Ashley invited me back out for this styled romantic blush and navy wedding!
Ashley has such an incredible eye (obviously) for furniture and design. She created the entire set up based off of what we were envisioning for the shoot. Julie, from Jewels Floral, created a beautiful bouquet, boutonniere, and floral arrangements for the shoot. We picked out the perfect romantic dress and navy tuxedo from LaNeige Bridal in downtown Boise.
Often, one of the trickiest things when organizing a styled shoot is finding the right models. I always like to work with real life couples because they have existing chemistry and don’t even flinch when I tell them to kiss or snuggle up! Since my job is all about serving real couples, I like to do the same with styled shoots. My friend, Sadie, came to mind when thinking of couples that could be a part of this shoot. She recently got engaged to her fiance, Ryan, and they are planning their wedding for this August! It was so much fun working with them, and giving them a little preview of what it’s like to be the bride and groom before their own wedding day! I couldn’t be happier with how this styled romantic blush and navy wedding shoot turned out!
