These two are just the sweetest!

It was such a joy to be a part of Sarah and Dillon’s wedding day. You know those people who you have known for like 3 hours total in life but they make you feel like you’re great old friends? Sarah and Dillon are those kind of people. I initially got to do their engagement photos at a lavender field (Sarah’s great idea). Dillon had all of these poses he wanted to try–much involving picking her up, dipping her, and kissing her…and it was absolutely adorable! Their laughter is contagious, and they are truly the kind of people who bring joy to whoever they are surrounded by. It was a gorgeous day for their wedding at Stillwater Hollow–despite the potential forecasts of rainstorms and torrential down-pours. From hand-designed cornhole boards, to wine cork succulent favors, their fine touches and careful thought showed throughout the whole wedding. Their love for each other was so evident through the whole day, and I couldn’t be happier for their new marriage!

getting ready

Being in the room taking photos and capturing moments when the bride and groom are getting ready is so unique. You can literally feel the anticipation in the room for the day and what it holds. It’s a day that brides have dreamt about forever. They have spent months planning, hours deciding over this caterer or that photographer, and now they are finally here. They finally get to enjoy and live their wedding day. It goes by so quickly, and it’s the small moments spent getting ready that allow couples a little room to breathe and relax, and soak in the reality of what’s about to take place.
