Sandstone Vineyards Summer Wedding

Ali and Tom’s wedding took place at the beautiful Sandstone Vineyards. This sweet vineyard is nestled away in Kuna, Idaho, just south of Meridian. I grew up no more than 5 minutes up the road from Sandstone Vineyards and had no idea it was so close! This was our first time shooting at this venue, and we are excited to return back for two more weddings at the quaint vineyard next summer! Ali and Tom’s Sandstone Vineyards Summer Wedding was absolutely stunning from their outdoor ceremony underneath a trellis of hops to the covered reception in Sandstone’s beautiful white barn.

Ali and Tom and their entire group of friends and family were so much fun to be with. They were so laid back and enjoyed every single part of the day! If there’s one piece of advice I could give to a bride and groom on a wedding day, it’s to do exactly that. There’s nothing more important than taking time to enjoy your wedding day with all the people you love most!

Their officiant, toasts, and friends and family had us laughing the whole day. When the officiant starts singing lines from Journey in the middle of the ceremony, let’s just say, you know it’s going to be good! During Tom’s brother’s toast, he shared a story about Ali and Tom in college. Ali played volleyball at Lewis Clark State College, where she majored in nursing. One day, Tom and his brother were driving and saw a billboard for the Lewis Clark State Volleyball Team. Tom turned to his brother and said, “I’m going to marry that girl right there!” Turns out…he was supposedly pointing to another girl on the team! But, he married one of the girls from the volleyball team and it was the perfect girl for him!

Ali and Tom, thank you for letting us be a part of your big day! We loved getting to know you, your friends, and your family. We are so excited for you as you begin your marriage!
