Fall Boise River Senior Session

This Fall Boise River senior session was so beautiful! October is the most wonderful time of the year in my opinion (insert the Christmas melody singing in your head!) The weather is usually a perfect 72 degrees, the leaves are changing into the most beautiful colors, and of course, Fall clothing is in! Because of that, it is also one of the craziest times of year for photographers because everyone wants to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and colors as the leaves change! I can’t blame them, because it’s certainly when some of my favorite sessions of the year happen! We hit the jackpot for Carly’s senior session along the Boise River. The changing leaves tied in perfectly with the outfits she chose (especially her red dress…um hello gorgeous!)

It was so much fun getting to capture Carly’s senior photos! Since we share the same name, we had some fun laughs when contacting each other saying, “Hi Carly, this is Karli!” and vice versa! I have gotten to know Carly and her family well from church over the past few years. She is a kind, joyful, and radiant spirit to be around! Carly cheers for Rocky Mountain High School. She has been cheerleading since she was 8 years old competitively! Impressive, right? She’s a flyer…yes, the ones that get thrown numerous feet into the air!

Every senior’s favorite (and sometimes least favorite question) is, “What are your plans for next year?” Carly hopes to go to Idaho State University where she wants to study to become a dental assistant. She said it’s the perfect distance from home, not too far, but not too close either. I think she’s totally right!
