Photography Team Branding Session

When Annalise and Beau asked us to photograph their photography team Branding session, we were extremely flattered! Annalise and Beau are a fellow husband and wife photography team. They started their business in sunny Southern California, and had aspirations of moving to Boise. They wanted to get some branding photos done in what they thought would be their future home.

For starters, photographing another photographer is always a unique experience. Usually, we are the only photography experts at our sessions. In this situation, there were two sets of experts, and one was on the other side of the camera! It ended up being such a fun experience. Annalise and Beau had also done some education through Amy and Jordan Photography like we have, so our photography philosophies are very similar! It was fun working with someone who was seemingly in your brain, and knew exactly what we were asking them to do.

It also was unique because Annalise and Beau were planning to move to Boise, which means more competition for us! To be honest, we did not know how it was going to feel – but we always try to prioritize community over competition. In reality, any concerns we had about them becoming “competition” were gone in seconds. It felt like we had been lifelong friends within the first few minutes! We were so excited about another great set of photography friends moving into the area!

But, as we know all too well, sometimes you have big plans and God has bigger ones!

While Annalise and Beau were sure that Boise was the place they were supposed to be, Annalise got a new job working for Dave Ramsey in Nashville, TN! After a trip to Nashville, they realized God was calling them there. Instead of moving their photography business to Boise, they will be heading down South to do some amazing things.

Annalise and Beau, we are so excited to see everything God has in store for you guys in Nashville! We have loved getting to know you, and wish you were joining us in Boise, but can’t wait to watch your business grow and flourish in Tennessee. Your willingness to follow God’s plans, even when they look different than your own, is so inspiring. Keep serving him faithfully, and we can’t wait for our paths to cross again!
