Megan and Jakob’s Shore Lodge McCall Elopement was nothing short of magical! When they reached out to us to capture their day, we were so excited!
First off, we could not wait to spend the day at Shore Lodge in McCall! It is an amazing venue year round, but we were blessed with a gorgeous spring day. There is something special about a 50 degree, sunny day while the lake is still covered in snow. Talk about the best of both worlds! Secondly, we felt so honored to play a role in the biggest day of Megan and Jakob’s lives! With their families still at home in California, they called on us to capture their day AND celebrate with them. The party was small, but we certainly made the most of it!
Megan and Jakob were totally the stars of the day! The day started with an intimate ceremony on the terrace overlooking beautiful Payette Lake. Megan and Jakob exchanged heartfelt vows promising to love one another and serve each other well in their marriage. They were dressed to the nines, with Jakob in a black tux and Megan adding a fur to her gorgeous wedding dress!
It was the perfect setting for this couple who is clearly a perfect match!
Shortly after the ceremony, we enjoyed a romantic portrait session with all that Shore Lodge has to offer. From the snow covered lake, to the beautiful walk ways and picturesque hotel, it was truly the perfect backdrop for the day!
