Spring Apple Orchard Engagement: Alyssa + Branden

Branden and Alyssa’s engagement Spring apple orchard engagement session at Cabalo’s Orchard and Gardens was just beautiful! Though the trees weren’t in full bloom anymore, the orchard was so lush and green! It’s easily become one of my favorite Spring locations, so needless to say, I will be returning next year. I also think I’ll have to come back in October to pick Apples. When chatting with the owner, we learned that a single apple tree drops 300 pounds of apples per year! How wild is that?

One of the things I love most about engagement sessions is the chance it gives me to get to know a couple before their wedding day. After all, a wedding is kind of sort of a big deal, so I love any opportunity I can get to give a couple an extra level of trust and comfort! I like to consider an engagement session a dress rehearsal for the wedding day. Each couple gets to know me and how I interact, pose them, and create a fun experience. It also gives me a chance to chat more with them aside from their initial consultation and learn about their interests, jobs, and lives!

When hanging out with Branden and Alyssa, I learned that Branden is a music guy and Alyssa loves photography. Those are only my top two passions in life, so I knew we were going to get along just fine! They are the sweetest and so in love, as if the photos don’t already tell you that. I can’t wait for their Still Water Hollow wedding coming up this July with Major Events! It’s going to be the most beautiful day!
