Boise Fall Maternity Session

This Boise Fall maternity session was so dreamy! People often ask me, “So, do you only shoot weddings?” The answer is, no! Though weddings and engagements most definitely have my heart, I shoot all sorts of exciting life milestones. Whether it be a senior, (you can see all the fun senior sessions here!), a wedding, or a couple that is about to welcome their first child into the family, I love photographing pivotal moments in life. Some may not know this, but a large part of my photography journey actually started with newborn photos! I worked for a photography company photographing newborn babies for over 2 years, so needless to say, I’m always excited when I get to hangout with a family and their new baby. I first met Taylor when we were in college at Northwest Nazarene together. She was an RA in my building my freshman year of college. Praise all of the RA’s that have to put up with crazy freshman girls…I don’t know how they do it! Taylor also just so happened to be best friends with my roommate! I remember hearing about this guy named Curtis, and not too long after, there was a ring on her finger!

Taylor and Curtis tied the knot a few years ago. Remember when snowmageddon hit Boise and there was a foot of snow on the ground all winter? Yeah, they got married that winter! Though I’m sure it was certainly chilly, their winter wedding photos in the snow were absolutely stunning! Now, a few years later, they are getting ready to welcome their first child into their family. Baby E is going to have the most adorable, pink filled nursery. She is due to arrive at the end of November. I can’t wait to meet her at their in home lifestyle session!
