Bogus Basin Winter Engagement

We lucked out with the most beautiful weather for Eunice and Edgar’s Bogus Basin winter engagement! Even though we were in the mountains and it was, naturally, cold, it was far better than the windy and freezing couple of days that followed! Edgar and Eunice were so full of laughter and joy at their session. Their love for each other is so evident in everything they do. They seriously made our jobs way too easy! The session started with overcast skies, but as we began to photograph their second look, the sun decided to make a show stopping appearance for us. It was the perfect end to the sweetest engagement session!

Edgar and Eunice first met each other at church. However, their relationship wasn’t smooth sailing from the start. After they had began dating, Edgar moved to Mexico for a few years to be with family. This resulted in a long distance relationship that was tricky. Edgar later moved back and they were able to pick up where they truly left off.

After spending the last 5 years together, Edgar knew it was time to pop the question of all questions. So, in an attempt to be sneaky, he had Eunice go ring shopping with a girlfriend. To Eunice’s knowledge, they were supposedly doing the shopping for her friend. But really, her friend was keeping notes of the rings Eunice liked!

Edgar later proposed at a park with the sweetest setup. The setup included all the works: lights in a heart shape, petals, balloons, photos, and pretty much everything a girl could imagine. He even had a photographer there and ready to capture photos of the entire thing. This guy deserves some serious credit!

They are now in the process of planning their August wedding at Fox Canyon Vineyards. We loved getting to shoot out there last year for Sam & Ethan’s wedding, and we can’t wait to be back to capture their big day!
