Spring is just around the corner, and we are so ready for it! I’m so incredibly thankful for these last few months of downtime and rest. We have been soaking up our weekends off and chill evenings before the craziness of full on wedding season begins! That being said, this early Spring weather is making me very giddy about this upcoming year. It’s so close, I can taste it! We have the best clients ever and it’s such a privilege to walk with them in their exciting season of life. We truly cannot wait for all the couples we are going to serve this year and the weddings we get to be a part of!
One of the many couples we get to serve this Summer is Cortney and Timothy. These two are downright adorable! We had so much fun with them at their Boise Idaho foothills engagement session. Cortney and Timothy initially met each other while working together at Dillard’s. She was his manager (saucy!) and after working together, they hit it off!
After dating for a year and a half, Timothy decided it was time to pop the question. He picked out Cortney’s gorgeous rose gold halo ring all by himself. He even included her birth stone in the side of the ring which makes for the sweetest personalized detail.
Last Summer, Cortney and Timothy were at Lake Chelan, a very special place to Cortney. She grew up in Seattle and frequently vacationed at Lake Chelan with her family. It’s essentially the equivalent of Boise to McCall in Idahoan terms! He decided it would be the perfect place to propose to her!
David and I are so excited for their June wedding at Fourth Street Gardens in Emmett, Idaho. I shot one of my very first solo weddings there! I’m so excited to return to capture their big day!
