Dreamy Boise River Engagement

This week, we got to head back to one of our favorite locations for this dreamy Boise River engagement session! During the past couple months of quarantined coronavirus life, David and I have frequently walked our dog, Murphy, along this very spot. The Boise Greenbelt goes for miles, but this is hands down one of our favorite stretches. It is lined with big beautiful trees, families passing by on bikes, and has numerous off shoots to smaller trails to explore. Murphy, personally, loves exploring each new path and insisting that we stop at the river every possible chance there is!

When Tori and Colby saw this engagement session from earlier this Spring on our blog, they fell in love with the location and knew it would be the perfect lush, outdoor look they had been in search of for their engagement photos. Though Tori and Colby both graduated from Boise State, they actually met each other playing in a local kickball league against each other! Eventually, they played together on the same team and started dating. After dating for 4 years, Colby proposed at the end of their season winning kickball championship game. (Thank goodness they won!) He had given all of their team members a heads up of his big plans so they could celebrate with them when it happened!

Tori and Colby were also our lucky engagement session giveaway winners from the Boise Bridal Show, and we have the pleasure of now getting to photograph their wedding as well! We can’t wait for their July wedding next summer at the lovely Still Water Hollow!
