Cortney and Timothy’s Fourth Street Gardens wedding was such a joy to capture! Fourth Street Gardens is just that: a beautiful property in Emmett, Idaho full of gardens, flowers, and an old historic house. From their rustic barn, to the white wrap around porch, to the field and mountains it backs up to, this venue has so many beautiful options for photos! I shot one of my very first weddings ever at this venue years back, and it was so fun to revisit it! It truly reminded me just how much I’ve learned and grown as a photographer in the last few years.
Cortney and Timothy are such a sweet, dear couple. It was evident throughout the entire day that they are madly in love and so excited to be husband and wife! On the wedding day, they soaked up every single moment they had with each other, and embraced the day, regardless of what came. There may or may not have been the closest lightning and loudest thunder both David and I had ever experienced, but thankfully, the storm passed on and the party kept going!
Cortney and Timothy chose classic wedding colors with the bridesmaids wearing blush and the groomsmen in navy. This color combo is hands down one of my personal favorites, but maybe that’s because we did the same colors for our own wedding! Cortney’s bridesmaids had matching pink robes and champagne glasses with each of their names. I knew we had to utilize Fourth Street Garden’s beautiful white porch for some photos with her girls, so we grabbed the champagne and headed up. Much to our surprise, the champagne popped a moment earlier than expected and got quite the reaction! You’ll see what I mean in the photos below. That is true genuine laughter! Some robes may have gotten wet in the process, but it was totally worth it for the photos!
In all, it was a beautiful day filled with love and sweet moments. Cortney and Timothy, we are so thankful we got to capture your wedding day! We wish you all the best as your marriage begins and you embark on a new journey together!
