Boise Foothills Engagement
In February 2021, we spent some time at these 6 Dreamy Florida wedding venues. We are primarily wedding photographers in the Boise, Idaho area. However, one of our biggest goals for 2021 is to also serve couples beyond our local market. We decided to spend some time in Florida, where the wedding season is literally the opposite of ours, as a step in that direction!
Our trip was really fun, and we got to enjoy some of the touristy things that Florida has to offer, like Disney World and the beach! We also met some wonderful wedding vendors and were a part of a beautiful styled shoot.
Our time in Florida was so great that we are excited to announce that we are now offering free travel to Florida from now until May of 2022 for couples that book our wedding experience!
We had seen so many gorgeous Florida wedding venues on social media, and knew we had to stop by a few. They certainly did not disappoint! The variety that Florida has to offer in the wedding scene is fantastic. So, we wanted to take a second to share 6 of our most favorite dreamy Florida Wedding Venues!
Our first visit was at the elegant Luxmore Grande Estate. While this gorgeous estate house was only recently built in the early 2000’s, everything about it says historic elegance! This place truly has it all: a stately white exterior, gorgeous bridal suite, an elegant ballroom, magnificent chandeliers, and more. We immediately fell in love with the gorgeous main staircase, and the quaint patio and fountain for cocktail hour or a smaller ceremony.
Just down the road from the Luxmore Grande is Cypress Grove Estate House. While these two share similar beautiful white exteriors, the two venues are very different. Built in 1925, the Cypress Grove Estate House is a lakeside property framed by the most beautiful, mature moss covered trees. If you are hoping for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony and reception with a wonderful view of the water, this is the place for you! We completely fell in love with the waterside gazebo and all of the amazing photo spots!
Located between Tampa and Orlando, this vast property has it all – a beautiful white building with a pergola out back, huge sweeping trees, water, and even some palm trees! Simpson Lakes is a blank canvas, so you can work with your planner to create the wedding day of your dreams! We got to spend a day at Simpson Lakes for our Classic Elegant Florida Wedding styled shoot and absolutely loved all that it had to offer from its picture perfect getting ready suites, white walls, and exposed wood farm tables.
We loved getting to see the beautiful Harborside Chapel, but what we might love even more is the mission behind this venue! It is only available for getting ready and ceremonies, but the building is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. We love that each couple who gets married here is paired with a marriage mentor couple. These marriage mentors help the couples set a foundation for their marriage, and learn about God’s design for marriage! After all, beautiful photos aren’t the most important thing on a wedding day, it’s all about you and the person you love!
Nestled in the heart of the city, The Orlo offers a beautiful mix of urban and historical beauty. Located right in Hyde Park, this historic house built in 1882 boasts traditional elegance. From the beautiful bridal suite, gorgeous grand staircase, and the spacious historic ballroom, this venue has everything you could need to make your day a success. The Orlo also decorates for Christmas in a classic, neutral style. So if you’re in Tampa and dream of having a Christmas wedding, The Orlo just might be the perfect fit.
Last, but certainly not least, is the historic Casa Feliz in Winter Park. We absolutely fell in love with this area, and this venue is truly right in the center of it! The historic Spanish style building is a fantastic canvas for a unique outdoor wedding. We loved all of the beautiful architecture and history involved with this venue. Also, David didn’t mind that it was right next to a golf course either 🙂
Thanks for taking a look at these dreamy Florida wedding venues! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! As a reminder, we are offering travel to Florida and anywhere in the US from October 2021 through May 2022!
