We had SO much fun at Macy and Ethan’s Summer Orchard Engagement Session! Sometimes, in the midst of the summer heat, you have to just pretend it’s fall for an evening. With Macy and Ethan, we stepped a few months into the future and enjoyed a beautiful “fall” adventure!
Macy and Ethan are high school sweethearts from Fairbanks, Alaska! We had so much fun getting to learn a bit more about them, and asking all the most basic Alaska questions! They were very kind to answer all of our silly questions about snow, daylight, and more. Ha! After moving to Boise to go to Boise State, Ethan asked Macy to be his wife on a trip back home to Alaska! Even sweeter, he asked her to be his wife on the same walking path where they became boyfriend and girlfriend. We are suckers for a thoughtful proposal!
When it came to choosing a location, Macy and Ethan knew they wanted something different than home. While they have lots of mountains and foothills, they don’t have many apple orchards! So, we braved the summer heat and shared the most beautiful orchard evening!
The love these two have for each other is absolutely infectious!
We couldn’t help but smile behind our cameras as Macy and Ethan shared the sweetest moments! From the most adorable giggles and kisses, to beautiful twirls and more, these two were a dream in front of the camera! They made our job way too easy.
We could not be any more excited to celebrate these two at Chateau des Fleurs next July! It is going to be an elegant affair straight out of our wedding dreams! We can’t wait to be a part of their big day. Most importantly, we are so excited to cheer them on as they take the next step in their journey together!
