Rupa and Chris’ Lavender Idaho Winery Wedding was a great reminder that love is sweet! Excuse our cheesy pun, but we promise we’ll explain why if you keep reading. It was our first wedding since it was officially summer, and boy did it feel like it! But even amidst the heat, it was a beautiful, emotional celebration of their love.
We met Rupa and Chris last fall at their Idaho Fall Mountain Engagement. We loved meeting this couple, and hearing their sweet story. They met and fell in love in college, and knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. After a surprise proposal in Sun Valley, they started planning their wedding together!
It was a beautiful day at Kindred Vineyards in Idaho wine country. Rupa and Chris worked with the ladies at Capital Occasions to make their wedding dreams come to life. It was such a gorgeous celebration of their love, but it wasn’t necessarily the tablescapes or other details that shone the brightest on their wedding day!
It was truly the love that these two share, and their excitement to spend forever together!
And that is the first part of what made this wedding day so sweet! From an emotional first look, to a tear filled private vow reading, it was so present throughout the day. We loved getting to witness it as these two took their first step into marriage together. They shared their love for one another in front of their friends and family at a beautiful ceremony.
But we said that was only the first part of what made the wedding day so sweet. So what was the second part? Well, it was more literally sweet, and Rupa and Chris seemed to know the way directly to our hearts. CRUMBL COOKIES! It was the first time we got to enjoy one of our favorite treats on a wedding day, and is something we think should become a trend! And they were so adorable too – lavender sugar cookies to represent Rupa and Chris’ wedding colors!
