Kate and Chantry’s Fall Boise River engagement session was the dreamiest fall evening! It was so fun walking around the Boise River finding beautiful spots to capture these two! They are the sweetest couple, and so in love with one another! We loved getting to know them a little bit better, and it got us SO excited for their wedding next year.
Most of our couples find us through Instagram or vendors we have worked with that kindly pass our name along. Sometimes, though, we get to serve couples that are friends or family with past couples. Kate and Chantry fell into this category, which is just so special to us! Kate’s mom is friends with the mother of one of our groom’s, Max, whose wedding we photographed earlier this year! Kate and Chantry are also getting married at Still Water Hollow and reached out to us after they saw our photos that we took of Savannah and Max! They were complimentary of their experience with us, which helped Kate and Chantry make their decision.

Kate and Chantry met each other through mutual friends who were neighbors with one another! They have been together for 5 years, and even have a 30 pound labradoodle, who we think would be great friends with our little guy Murphy! When Chantry knew he was ready to propose, he planned the sweetest proposal! Kate’s family spent time frequently in Michigan at her grandma’s lakeside cottage. He knew it was the perfect place to ask Kate to spend the rest of her life with him!
Thankfully, Kate said yes, and we can’t wait for their wedding this May! It is going to be the sweetest day celebrating the love these two share. Kate and Chantry, we can’t wait to celebrate and serve you two!
